Frühlings Release TD WinNut und TD ReCAD

Dear Customers and Partners,

With the current Spring release for TD WinNut and TD ReCAD, you can benefit from targeted improvements in simulation, geometry calculation, and modeling logic – for even more precise and stable results.

TD WinNut:

3D Simulation
Significantly improved performance for faster and smoother visualizations.

Face Twist for Conical Tips

For greater safety in design and verification, an off-center position of 0 is now permitted and can also be displayed in the 3D simulation.

Parametric Relief Surfaces
Corrected calculation prevents faulty geometries and ensures stable models.

Data Sheet Output
For clear documentation and reliable transfer of relevant tool data, the rake angle can now be consistently displayed in the data sheet.

Flute Length for Straight Flutes
Improved calculation delivers consistent results even with small lead angles.

Various Improvements
Optimizations in security, stability and performance.

TD ReCAD:

Allowance Directly Visible
The outer diameter with allowance is displayed directly in the flute and relief grinding dialog and considered automatically.

Reliable Profile Reversal
Selected profiles can now be easily inverted and reused.

Consistent Copying of Flutes
Sweep runouts are transferred correctly when copying flute groups, without manual rework.

Various Improvements
Optimizations in security, stability and performance.

With these updates, you work more precisely, avoid typical modeling errors and benefit from more stable processes, both in simulation and in re-engineering.

Note on Windows 10

Windows 10 (64-bit) remains compatible but is no longer actively supported. For long-term stable use, we recommend upgrading to Windows 11 (64-bit).
