With TD WinNut you can clearly define groove profile rows for profile and standard grinding wheels and precisely model your tool in just a few steps. The following new and improved functions have been implemented in the current release:

NEW Define step relief grindings for step tools more easily

Step relief grinding for step tools can now be defined more easily. Instead of complex special operations and wheel positioning, step relief grinding can now be defined parametrically based on the cutting edge. The pane positioning is system-supported.

NEW Expansion of the export of grinding paths to NUMROTOplus®

Where previously only grooves and secondary cuts were rewritten in the NUMROTO coordinate system, this is now possible with numerous operations defined in TD WinNut.

Optimized functions:

• Revision of the 2D view of tip geometries. The spikes must now be defined more precisely.
• Groove definitions are now possible using a variety of different methods. For example, by selecting the grinding wheel and setting, by describing the groove geometry via DXF import or via parameters.
• Further quality optimization of the surface calculation in TD Surface.
